Turning compassion into action for young hearts in need
At TWS, we believe everyone deserves the chance to grow, thrive, and live a healthy life. That’s why we’re proud to support the ‘Create A Smile Campaign’ by Yayasan Jantung Kecil Indonesia (Little Heart Foundation), an initiative close to our hearts that gives children with congenital heart disease (CHD) access to life-saving surgeries.
Each year in Indonesia, nearly 50,000 babies are born with CHD, yet only 5,000 are able to access treatment due to financial constraints and limited medical expertise. For families living below the poverty line, the cost of surgery is far beyond reach, leaving many children to face a lifetime of struggle without proper care.
Through the generosity of our donors and partners, TWS has been able to help 14 children undergo life-saving surgeries this year alone. But this initiative is about more than just medical treatment. It’s about restoring hope, uplifting families, and showing communities that compassion truly heals. Every returning smile and every family relieved of worry reminds us why this work matters.
With many more children still waiting for a chance at a healthy life, TWS is committed to extending the reach of the ‘Create A Smile Campaign,’ creating ripples of impact, opening doors to new possibilities, and proving that care and compassion can shape a better tomorrow.
